Stoupa makes an easy base. The village has two sandy beaches, the long main beach and quieter Kalogria, known as Zorba’s Beach. Along the coast you also have pebbly Foneas towards Kardamili and calm, gently shelving Pantazi near Agios Nikolaos.
You can walk or cycle the flat 4km coastal path south to the fishing harbour at Agios Nikolaos. By car, head up into the hills to Neochori for views back over the bay, then on to Platsa and its Byzantine churches.
