Buses in the Mani region are operated by KTEL Messinias. While Stoupa is a popular destination, the bus service is functional but infrequent, so planning ahead is essential.
There are two bus stops in Stoupa, both on the main road, going in both directions. The first is at the Kalogria junction outside the large Panagiotopoulos supermarket and then the second is at the bakery junction. You can pay the driver in cash for your ticket.
Buses are comfortable and have air conditioning as standard. Try to get a seat on the side of the coast if you can (right side from Kalamata to Stoupa or left side from Stoupa to Kalamata), because the views are tremendous.
