If you’re flying into Greece for your trip to Stoupa you will likely be landing at Kalamata Airport. It is a small airport with only one runway and small departures/arrivals areas.
The airport is situated approximately 34 miles north of Stoupa and takes approximately 1hr 15min by road. The roads down the coast are winding and hilly, but generally quiet and easy to drive if you take it at a sensible pace.
When returning to the airport for your flight home be aware that the small cafe is currently closed for refurbishment (as of spring/summer 26), so make sure you either bring some food with you or order an in-flight meal to be sure you don’t go hungry.
There is a small duty free shop that, in addition to the usual perfumes, alcohol, cigarettes and sweets, sells bottles of water while you wait to board your plane.
