Once a sleepy seaside village on the Mani Peninsula, with only a single road connecting it to Kalamata, Stoupa has become quite a popular tourist destination for people seeking a traditional relaxing Greek holiday.
It is It is built at the foothills of Taygetos in an area overgrown with olive groves and has two beaches – the long Stoupa beach stretches along the front of the village, while the quieter Kalogria beach is a short 0.5km walk to the north.
